APPLICATION FOR AOTEAROA/NEW ZEALAND PROGRAMME:
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE PROGRAMME YOU MUST:
- Be a member of CIF
- Be employed as a Social Worker or in another related profession
- Be involved in direct service with clients
- Have a minimum of 2 years professional experience
- Understand and speak English fluently
CONDITIONS OF THE NEW ZEALAND PROGRAMME 2012:
- The participant must pay for his/her own way to Auckland , New Zealand
- The participant must have full travel insurance coverage including third Party liability and Health. A letter of verification must be supplied by the insurer prior to commencement of the programme
- CIF Aotearoa/New Zealand will be responsible for living expenses related directly to the programme, such as travel, meals and accommodation. We will not be responsible for participants own personal expenses such as gifts and personal travel, or for any expenses before or after the programme
- Participation requires full time involvement - it is therefore not appropriate for friends and family to visit the participant during the programme. CIF Aotearoa/New Zealand will not take responsibility for friends or family of the participant
- Agency visits may be limited to observation only (for privacy and ethical reasons), depending on the discretion of the organisers.

It is important you send your application to your National Branch in plenty of time for them to process it, and send it on to us by our deadline. Please do not send us your application directly, as we are required to send it back to your National Branch, thus delaying the process.

Final Selection:
CIF Aotearoa/New Zealand makes the final decision regarding successful applicants, and details of the programme. All applicants will be notified of our decision by end of April.
